An incident and injury free workplace is our goal at Carnwood Contracting. Our company has a very comprehensive Health and Safety Manual outlining company policies, job procedures, and safe work practices. Employees and contractors at every level of our business are responsible and accountable for following all safety procedures and whenever possible improving safety measures. We are very proud of our safety record and strive to maintain the highest of standards through continuous education and improvement.

All field personnel receive comprehensive classroom and field training in Herbicide Application, Weed Identification, Defensive Driving, ATV/UTV Safety, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG, CSO, and Construction Safety Training (CSTS). Experienced mentors work side by side with new employees to ensure training is applied to task performance.

We are COR, ISNetworld and Complyworks certified and proud members of the Professional Vegetation Managers Association of Alberta (PVMA) and the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP).
